Volunteer Social Media Intern | CBYX Alumni Association Remote | 3 or 6-Month Term | ~10 Hours per Week

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Alumni Association (CBYX AA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer to support our Membership Coordinator as a Design Intern for a 3 or 6-month term.

CBYX AA is how alumni turn a shared experience into a shared purpose. Our social media keeps that community connected across the globe and gives it a voice - and we take the quality of that presence seriously.

The Role

This is a hands-on design role with real visibility. Working directly with our Membership Coordinator, you will produce graphics for event promotions, organizational announcements, and swag concepts, assets that reach CBYX alumni across the world. Creative direction and content strategy are provided; your contribution is bringing those concepts to life with visual consistency and polish. As you grow into the role, there will be opportunities to pitch your own ideas.

The expected time commitment is approximately 10 hours per week, making this a manageable addition alongside school or other work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Canva is required

• Strong attention to visual detail and brand consistency

• Reliable and communicative, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Prior experience with social media content creation is a plus
