The Live Feed

Like most social media home screens, this is where the latest updates and content live. Unlike algorithm-driven feeds, the feed here is a simple reverse-chron listing of all the latest public posts from CBYXAA and our members. Updates will include event postings, job opportunities, CBYXAA news, posts and comments from members, new members who've joined, trip updates people share, and updates from various groups you've joined. 

The People Directory

Aside from being a simple listing of active members, our people directory is visually searchable on a global map, so you can get to know who's around you. Of course, you can also search by your program, year and/or "cluster," which cross-matches everyone by program and year into their CBYX cohort, or by any number of other profile items.

The Events Listing

All CBYX Alumni Association events will be available to join from this page. Whether virtual or in person, ticketed or freely accessible, regional or national, all of our events live here. Our virtual events are integrated into community, so you don't need to fuss with lost email keys or URLs. Once you've joined an event's RSVP list, you'll be able to access it from the same place.

Groups

CBYX Alumni has already organized 16 geographic groups that are open to all members. We hope these initial groups provide a place for members to come together on their own and in tandem with the broader organization. As members form different kinds of collectives, we'll also add new groups to help people deepen and multiply their connections.

News

Our News page will keep you updated on all the latest developments from the Alumni Association, and it houses our Alumni Stories project, which shares depth of impact this scholarship has had on many thousands of American young people, and amplifies the narrative of this collective German-American cultural ambassadorship experience with the world at large. We also make our news feed available on our main website.
